How do I become an online customer in Mutual Funds and IPO’s?

In order to start placing an order in Mutual Funds online, you will have to become a registered client of ours. All you have to do is open an online account with us. Once your account is activated, you can place your orders completely online. What accounts need to be opened to avail the online Mutual Funds and IPO product?
|

Placing orders in Mutual Funds couldn’t get easier. With our integrated 3-in-1 account, you can buy/sell Mutual Funds with the click of a few buttons. What’s more, you can use this account to apply for IPO’s and also trade in Equities. Our sales personnel will open your online trading and Demat Account, which will be linked to your Savings Bank Account.
Please Note : You will have to link your savings bank account with internet fund transfer facility with one of the specified banks (CITI Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank), which will be used for transferring money online. In case you are a customer of SBI or PNB you can avail the lien marking facility to transfer funds.

What are the documents that are required to open an online account?

The following are the list of documents required :
Proof of Identity – Copy of PAN Card
Proof of Address – Copy of any one of the following (Self Attested)
Bank Proof – Copy of Bank Pass Book or Personalized Cheque leaf (For Existing Bank Account Holders Only)

How soon will my account be opened once I have submitted the relevant documents?
|
|

After you have submitted the relevant documents, we will send you the Welcome Kit containing your Client Id, password and User Manual within 10 working days.
|

How will I get my password and user Id for the first time?
|
|
|
Your password and User Id will be sent to your registered address along with the welcome kit by courier. This will also contain the User Manual that will help you get started with our product.

What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
|
|
|
In case you have forgotten your password, kindly click on the link-Forgot Password. Our system will generate an auto response email with new passwords on the email address provided by you while opening the account.

Is it necessary to open a Demat account to trade in Mutual Funds?
|
|
|
No, it is not necessary to open a Demat account to buy/sell Mutual Funds online. However , we would suggest you to open a Demat account also along with the trading account since our comprehensive 3-in-1 account will help you place orders in Equities also. To trade in Equity markets/apply in IPO’s, it is necessary to have a Demat account. What’s more, we offer the Demat Account absolutely free of charges for the first year.

Can I link any other bank other than the ones mentioned above for the purpose of online fund transfer?
|
|
|
No, you will have to necessarily link HDFC, CITI or ICICI bank account for the purpose of online transfers. In case you are a customer of SBI or Punjab National Bank (PNB), you may link your respective bank accounts for transferring funds. In such a case lien marking facility will be offered.

Can I have multiple bank accounts linked to my Trading account?
|

No, you cannot link more than one particular Bank account to a trading account.
|

Do I need to open a new bank account with the banks specified above for online transactions?
|
|
|
No, you may use your existing bank account for linking it to the trading account.
