You can download your Aadhaar Card online in the following ways:
1. Aadhaar number
Here’s how to download an e-Aadhaar Card using your Aadhaar number:
- Go to the official website of UIDAI
- Click “Download Aadhaar” under the “My Aadhaar” tab
- Now select the “Aadhaar number” option
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and captcha code
- Click “Send OTP” and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
- Choose the “Do you want a masked Aadhaar” option if you want to download a masked Aadhaar or skip
- Click “Verify and download”

2. Virtual ID (VID)

5. DigiLocker app
If you prefer Aadhaar Card download by mobile number, you can use your DigiLocker account, as explained below:
- Download the app and sign in
- Choose a partner and the document. The partner would be UIDAI in this case
- Choose the dropdown and select “Aadhaar”
- Now enter your Aadhaar number, after which an OTP will be sent to your mobile number
- Enter the OTP and click “Verify OTP”
- Your Aadhaar Card will appear under the app’s “Issued” section
6. mAadhaar app
Here’s how you can download e-Aadhaar from the mAadhaar app if your mobile number is registered with UIDAI:
- Download and log in to the mAadhaar app
- Click “Download Aadhaar” under the “Get Aadhar” option
- Choose between regular or masked Aadhaar
- Enter your virtual ID, Aadhaar number or enrolment number and security code
- Click “Request OTP”. The app will automatically read the OTP

7. Umang app
Here’s the procedure to download your Aadhaar Card from the Umang app:
- Download and open the app
