MO Trader App

The MO Trader app or Motilal Oswal Investor application is an advanced online trading application where you can invest or trade in stocks, securities, and shares. As it is an advanced trading platform, this application is not only suitable for experienced investors but also efficient for traders just beginning to invest in the marketplace. You can easily avail of this application through Google Playstore or Apple Store depending on your operating system. The MO Trader app is mostly used for margin trading for intraday purposes.

Let us focus on what margin trading is and how to margin trade on the MO Trader app.

What is Margin Trading

Let's say for instance that you want to buy 1000 shares of a company which would cost you around Rs. 8 Lakhs. But if you apply for 1000 shares and specify it only for intraday trading, then you will not need to pay the full price of 1000 shares. The broker will give you a margin of up to 4-5 times with certain risks involved. So, in short, you can simply buy 1000 shares of a company in just Rs. 2 Lakhs instead of Rs. 8 Lakhs. But with that margin given by the broker, you will be strictly allowed for intraday trading purposes with those 1000 shares of the company. To avail of this, you just have to simply specify the reason that you are going for intraday trading with those shares.
