Bajaj Auto set to ride into Egypt with its "Qute" platform
While Bajaj Auto boasts of outpacing the domestic industry for the second year running, it's also making positive strides in other countries, notably Egypt. The two-wheeler and three-wheeler major announced that the Egyptian government has formally recognized the category of quadricycles for public transportation, and Bajaj will commence the first exports of Qute to Egypt as early as this month.

Lotus Chocolate Company Q4 FY24 results : profit at  ₹1.18Cr
Lotus Chocolate Company declared their Q4 FY24 results on 16 Apr, 2024. The topline increased by 433.72% & the profit came at  ₹1.18cr. It is noteworthy that Lotus Chocolate Company had declared a loss of  ₹5.81cr in the previous fiscal year during the same period. The revenue grew by 26.83% compared to the previous quarter. The Selling, general & administrative expenses declined by 2.42% q-o-q.

TSMC's shares slide nearly 7% in Taipei on global chip outlook concerns
TSMC's Taipei-listed shares tumbled 6.7% on Friday following the company's first-quarter earnings report in which it dialled back its expectations for chip sector growth and did not revise up its capital spending plans, contrary to expectations. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, forecast second-quarter sales may rise as much as 30% as it rides.
