Around six new initial public offerings (IPO), including three in mainboard and three small and medium enterprise (SME), are set to hit Dalal Street in the upcoming week.

LIC Housing Finance hopes to earn Rs 5,000 crore profit in FY24
LIC Housing Finance, the mortgage arm of insurance behemoth LIC, is expecting a net profit of Rs 5,000 crore in the current financial year on the back of robust loan demand and expansion in non-core business. The non-core business includes Loan Against Property and affordable housing finance, LIC Housing Finance managing director and CEO Tribhuwan Adhikari told PTI in an interaction.

Sun Pharma, Lupin, Alkem recall products from US market
Pharmaceutical products manufactured by Sun Pharma, Lupin Laboratories and Alkem Laboratories are being recalled from the US market, as per a list issued in the weekly enforcement report of the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The Mumbai-based Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is recalling 54,960 bottles of Mesalamine Extended-Release Capsules from the US.

Paytm issue may be reviewed, scrutiny on Byju's progressing well: ICAI
Amid the unfolding Paytm Payments Bank Ltd crisis, ICAI President Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal on Sunday said its FRRB may deliberate on issues of the fintech firm in the near future. The FRRB of the statutory body is currently conducting a review of the accounts of tech-based education unicorn Byju’s over alleged governance concerns, and the exercise is progressing well, the ICAI president said.
