The dividend shall be disbursed to the eligible shareholders on or before 30th March 2020.
Elgi Rubber Company Limited has informed the Exchange regarding 'With reference to the earlier announcement dated 06' March 2020 regarding the declaration of interim dividend, we would like to inform that the interim dividend of Rs.0.16 (at the rate of 16%) per equity share has been paid through online payment viz. NECS, NEFT, RTGS and direct remittance to those shareholders whose name appeared in the Register of Members on 19' March, 2020 (the record date) on 26' March 2020, who had opted for the same.However, in the wake of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 and subsequent lock down announced bythe Central Government throughout the Country, the Company has not been able to despatch the interim dividend to those shareholders who had opted to receive the dividend through Bank Cheques / Demand Drafts as the services of Post Offices and Transportation services are not available.Hence, the interim dividend will be sent to the shareholders once the aforesaid services are resumed.'.
