Thermax Ltd has informed the Exchange that at the EGM held on March 07, 2006 the shareholders transacted the business as per the Notice dated January 31, 2006. The business transacted at the EGM, included inter alia the following: a) Reclassification of the Redeemable Preference Shares into Equity Shares in the Authorised Share Capital of the Company. b) Sub-division of the Equity Shares of face value Rs.10/- each into face value of Rs.2/- each. c) Consequential to the above, necessary amendment to the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company. The Company has further informed that subsequent to the approval of the shareholders at the EGM for sub-division of Equity Shares into Rs.2/- each as aforesaid, the Board of Directors at its meeting has fixed April 10, 2006 as the Record Date to ascertain the entitlement of shareholders eligible to receive the sub-divided shares.
