Dalmia Bharat's Q4 profit falls 46.5% y-o-y to ₹315 cr on decline in prices
Dalmia Bharat Ltd on Wednesday said its consolidated net profit declined 46.5% year-on-year in January-March to  ₹315 crore, hurt by a drop in cement prices that eroded margin. The Delhi-based cement manufacturer had reported a net profit of  ₹589 crore in the same period of FY23. Yet, the company remains confident of demand growth, as it reported a consolidated revenue of  ₹4,307 crore.

LIC cuts stake in 16 PSU stocks as portfolio soars to Rs 14 lakh crore
LIC has reduced ownership in at least 80 stocks, including 16 PSUs, in the March quarter with the market value of its portfolio surging to Rs 14 lakh crore. LIC was seen cutting stakes in BHEL, SAIL, Coal India, Oil India, Mahanagar Gas, MOIL, SBI, Canara Bank, HPCL, NMDC Steel, NMDC, Shipping Corporation, IOC, Container Corporation Of India, ONGC and NTPC in Q4, shows data pulled from ACE Equity.
