Lupin receives Establishment Inspection Report from USFDA
Global pharma  firm Lupin Ltd (Lupin) on Tuesday announced that it has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) for its Aurangabad manufacturing facility. The inspection was conducted from March 6 to March 15, 2024. The U.S. FDA has determined that the inspection classification of the facility is Voluntary Action Indicated.

Tata Elxsi aims to hire up to 2,000 engineering freshers in FY25
Tata Elxsi  aims to add 1,500-2,000 engineering freshers in FY25, said the company in its Q4FY24 earnings conference call. On the other hand, lateral hiring will be based on needs. Tata Elxsi, however, said it would be a bit careful on the number of freshers that it hires. "We will meter hirings based on how the deals shape up and how the revenue keeps up in the year," said the management.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance to focus on growing absolute VNB
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance said it will focus on growing its absolute Value of New Business moving forward. In the Q4FY24 results announced on April 23, the company said VNB, which is the expected profitability from new policies sold, fell 19.45 percent to Rs 2,227 crore for FY24 from Rs 2,765 crore in FY23. VNB margin also fell to 24.6 percent in FY24 from 32 percent in the previous year.
