FPIs infuse Rs 18,500 cr in debt market in Feb
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) continued their bullish stance on the country's debt markets with a net infusion of over Rs 18,500 crore so far this month, driven by upcoming inclusion of Indian government bonds in the JP Morgan Index. This came following a net investment of over Rs 19,836 crore in January, making it the highest monthly inflow in more than six years.

Vietnam's VinFast seeks India EV import duty cut!
India Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has asked India to reduce import duties on its cars for about two years so customers can get familiar with its products while a local manufacturing plant comes on stream, an executive said on February 25. FPIs offload  ₹424 crore in Indian equities as outflows sharply decline.
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) continued January's selling streak in Indian markets, however the outflows have sharply declined in February. According to market experts, FPIs continue buying in primary markets and debt, counterbalanced the total net sell-off amount so far in February. However, the capital outflow by FPIs stands at  ₹26,168 crore so far in 2024.FPIs have sold  ₹424 crore worth.
