SAIL shares reach record high on 7% gain

Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) shares gained over 7% to a 52-week high of ₹142. A CNBC-TV18 poll forecasts increased revenue (₹24,822 crore, 0.6% YoY) but declined operating profit (32% YoY) and net profit (85% YoY) for Q2. Volumes are expected to rise 10% YoY, offset by weak steel realisations and higher proportions of long products.
