IRB shares surge 7% on Rs 9,270 crore project win

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd rose 7% after receiving a Letter of Award for a Rs 9,270 crore project covering 366 kilometres of NH-27 and NH-731. This takes the IRB platform's share in the TOT segment to 42% and moves it closer to an asset portfolio of Rs 1 lakh crore. Toll revenue and asset base are expected to increase by 20% and 90,000 crore, respectively.
