SAIL partners with DRDO lab for tech transfer at Bokaro plant

Bokaro steel plant signed a licensing agreement with DRDO's Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) for technology transfer to produce special steel used in defence applications. The license enables the plant to manufacture DMR 249A steel sheets for naval applications and sell to the Indian armed forces and other government agencies.
