RBI offers early redemption for another SGB series with a 183% return

The RBI announced the early redemption price for the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) 2019-20 Series-IV, issued on September 17, 2019. The redemption price is Rs 11,003 per unit, calculated from the average gold prices in September 2025. Investors who bought at Rs 3,890 per gram can redeem at nearly a 183% gain, plus 2.5% annual interest paid semi-annually.
