Silver price jumps to record Rs 1,85,100/kg on London supply shortage

Silver prices reached an all-time high due to a supply crunch in London, breaching the 1980 record. Spot rates rose by 0.4% to $52.5868 an ounce in London. In India, silver rates per kg saw an uptick of Rs 100 from Monday's rates. Goldman Sachs analysts attributed the price surge to the silver market's liquidity and investment flows.
