Gold and silver prices on October 15 hit a record ATH due to concerns over the US-China trade war, making them safe-haven investments. Gold prices rose 56% this year, and 1,200% over 20 years. Silver prices have also surged, gaining 668.84% over the past 20 years. The MCX gold index was at ₹1,25,198/10 gm, while MCX silver prices were ₹1,58,247/kg, with 24-carat gold priced at ₹1,25,590/10 gm.
