Brent oil prices likely drop ahead of Trump-Putin meeting

Oil prices edged lower, down nearly 3% for the week. Brent crude fell 0.13% to $60.98 and US WTI fell 0.16% to $57.37. Supply concerns eased after US President Trump agreed to meet with Russian President Putin to discuss ending the war in Ukraine. US crude inventories increased by 3.5 million barrels last week, and US production rose to 13.636 million barrels per day, a record high.
