Gold prices rebound from record highs

Flipitmoney

Spot gold rose 0.4% to $4,263.59 per ounce, recovering from last week's 1.8% drop after US President Donald Trump's comments eased U.S.-China trade tensions. US gold futures added 1.5% and silver rose 0.5%. Non-yielding bullion has gained over 60% year-to-date, driven by geopolitical tensions and rate-cut bets. HSBC forecasts gold prices to reach $5,000 an ounce by 2026.
