Gold prices steady after Diwali surge, silver maintains levels

Gold and silver prices in India dipped on October 24, driven by a correction in global bullion and a stronger US dollar. Today, retail gold prices stand at Rs 12,507 per gram for 24-karat, Rs 11,464 for 22-karat, and Rs 9,380 for 18-karat. Gold futures on MCX trade around Rs 1.24 lakh per 10 grams, while silver futures hover near Rs 1.49 lakh per kg.
