Gold prices in India rose to Rs 1.22 lakh per 10 grams from Rs 1.2 lakh on Wednesday, amid a partial rebound after a marginal decline. Silver prices dropped to Rs 1.52 lakh per kg. Experts predict another rally in silver prices reaching up to Rs 2.3 lakh in 2026, while gold prices are up about 50% this year, driven by central bank purchases and demand for the "debasement trade".
