Oil falls due to oversupply concerns

Brent crude futures fell 13 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $63.93 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude was at $60 a barrel, down 13 cents, or 0.2 percent. Oversupply concerns outweighed optimism over a potential US government shutdown resolution, with OPEC increasing December output targets by 137,000 barrels per day, and Russian oil majors facing sanctions.
