Gold rises on weaker dollar, eyes weekly gain

Gold prices rose 0.2% to $4,180.57 per ounce, on track for a weekly gain, supported by a weaker dollar and low interest rate expectations, with a 51% probability of a quarter-point rate cut from the Fed next month. U.S. gold futures eased 0.3% to $4,183.40 per ounce, with spot silver, platinum, and palladium also gaining between 0.6%.
