Oil prices increase ahead of US sanctions deadline

Oil prices rebounded on Thursday, Brent crude up 21 cents to $63.72 and US WTI up 24 cents to $59.68, after falling nearly 2% on Wednesday. U.S. proposals to end Ukraine's war with Russia included a draft framework that reportedly would require Ukraine to give up territory and some weapons, in exchange for a ceasefire.
