Aluminium price forecast sees significant gains in 2025

Domestic aluminium prices fell 1.3% to Rs 294.60 on the MCX, despite global peers on the SHFE and LME trading higher. Aluminium futures have rallied 23% this year. South32's shutdown of Mozal smelter due to power agreement issues and China's overcapacity control policies may impact supplies and push prices higher. A technical outlook suggests prices may resume their upside towards Rs 308-310/kg.
