Gold slips from record; silver gains on MCX as global prices fall

On January 13, gold prices at the MCX declined by 0.12 percent to ₹1,41,863 per 10 grams, after hitting an all-time high of ₹1,42,500 on January 12. Meanwhile, international gold prices also dropped. Silver prices increased by 0.20 percent on the MCX to ₹2,69,507 per kg, while international gold prices dropped.
