Silver futures surge Rs 10,442 to a new high of Rs 2.77 lakh/kg

Silver prices surged Rs 10,442 to Rs 2.77 lakh per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange. The global market saw silver futures gain 6 per cent to USD 89.59 per ounce, following a pullback in the US dollar. Analysts said silver remains supported, with the next upside level seen around USD 95 per ounce (Rs 2.85 lakh per kg) and could correct before fresh buying interest.
