Welspun Corp Q2 profit jumps 53% to ₹439 crore, led by 33% revenue surge

Welspun Corp Ltd reported a 53.2% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit at ₹439 crore for Q2. Revenue grew 32.5% to ₹4,373 crore, while EBITDA rose 47.7% to ₹590.8 crore. Shares ended at ₹928.70, up by ₹21.90, or 2.42%, on the BSE. The company also announced an equity share acquisition and plans to incorporate a wholly owned subsidiary in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
