Vedanta share price surges 3% on Q2 results

Vedanta's Q2FY26 net profit dropped 59% to ₹1,798 crore due to a ₹2,067 crore net exceptional loss. However, the company reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹39,868 crore, a 5.9% YoY growth, along with a record EBITDA of ₹11,612 crore, up 12% YoY with margins expanding 69 bps to 34%. The share price rose 3.19% at ₹509.35 apiece.
