NSE gearing up for historic ₹5 lakh crore IPO

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the regulator is close to issuing a No-Objection Certificate for NSE's Initial Public Offering (IPO). NSE has 247.5 crore shares, a market cap of ₹4.95 lakh crore, and reported an EPS of ₹25 for the first half of 2026, with estimates of up to ₹51 in 2027. NSE is trading at 39 times 2027 EPS, making it a potential mega IPO.
