Tier-2 Indian cities see 10% housing sales drop in 2025

The sales value of top 15 tier-2 cities remained flat at Rs 1.48 lakh crore, while sales volumes declined 10% to 1,56,181 units in 2025, according to PropEquity. 13 cities saw a decline of up to 38%, except Mohali and Lucknow which grew 34% and 6% respectively. Top 4 Gujarat cities accounted for 64% of new launches.
