Flipitmoney

The Indian rupee opened 17 paise up at 88.05 against the US dollar due to a fall in the dollar index to 97.22. Expectations of a US interest rate cut for the first time in nine months led to the dollar index decline. A 25 basis point rate reduction is the median estimate, with a possible rate cut range of 87.50-88.50 for USD/INR.
