India's forex reserves increased USD 4.698 billion to USD 702.966 billion for the week ended September 12. Key components: Foreign currency assets rose USD 2.537 billion to USD 587.014 billion, gold reserves increased USD 2.12 billion, and Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) rose USD 32 million to USD 18.773 billion, with the Reserve Bank of India releasing the data on Friday.
