Indian Rupee recovers, rises 6 paise against US dollar

The rupee rose 6 paise to 88.70 against the US dollar on September 26, amid a weaker greenback and hopes of an India-US trade deal. Forex traders attributed limited gains to FII outflows and rising international crude oil prices. The dollar index fell 0.17% to 98.38. Brent crude was trading 0.22% higher at $69.57 per barrel.
