The US and China reached a deal over TikTok control, where six Americans will sit on the seven-seat board controlling the app, and the US will control its algorithm. The platform will be majority-owned by Americans, and its data and privacy will be managed by Oracle. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced the framework of the deal last week.
