China's rare earth magnet exports to US slump for second month

China's exports of rare earth magnets to the US sharply decreased 28.7% in September to 420.5 tonnes from August, also 30% lower than the previous year. This marks the second consecutive monthly decline after a brief rebound started in June due to Beijing's expedited export permits during trade talks.
