Danish shipping giant Maersk reported a preliminary $2.68 billion third-quarter operating profit, surpassing analyst expectations of $2.6 billion, and raised its full-year operating profit forecast to $9-9.5 billion, up from $8-9.5 billion, due to increased container volumes and resilience in global trade.
