Jaro Institute IPO sees 12% subscription on Day 1

Jaro Education's IPO received bids for 4,54,992 shares against 37,23,404 shares on offer on the first day of bidding, with 13% subscription in the non-institutional investor portion and 19% subscription in the retail individual investors category. The issue consists of a fresh issue worth Rs 170 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 280 crore, with a price band of Rs 846 to Rs 890 per share.
