Sterlite Electric to Launch Rs 1500 Crore IPO

Sterlite Electric, a power transmission company owned by Vedanta Group, has filed a draft IPO with SEBI, seeking to raise Rs 1400-1500 crore. The IPO includes a fresh issue of 7.79 million shares and an offer for sale of up to 15.5 million shares. The company plans to use the proceeds for debt repayment, capital expenditure and general purposes.
