Tata Capital IPO receives 39% subscription at opening

Tata Capital's IPO received a 39% overall subscription on day one, with 128.61 million shares bid against 333.43 million shares. Employee quota was fully subscribed, while QIB booked 52%, retail booked 35% and non-institutional investors booked 29% at Rs 310-Rs 326 per share. The IPO closes on October 8 and is expected for Rs 4,642 crore.
