Avaada Electro files draft IPO papers with SEBI to raise Rs 10,000 crore

Avaada Electro, a solar panels maker, filed a Confidential Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI to raise Rs 9,000-10,000 crore via initial public offering (IPO). The IPO, largest by a solar PV modules manufacturer in India, will utilize fresh issue proceeds for new production capacity and scaling up existing one. The company has an operational solar module production capacity of 8.5 GW.
