October AMFI data: Equities slow, SIPs surge

Net inflows into equity mutual funds declined to ₹24,690 crore in October, a 19% on-month drop from ₹30,422 crore in September. Equity AUM rose to ₹35.16 lakh crore. Flexible-cap funds bucked the trend with ₹8,929 crore inflows, while other categories saw lower inflows. Hybrid schemes drew ₹14,156 crore, and arbitrage funds attracted ₹6,920 crore.
