A 15-year-old girl earning from singing performances doesn't have clubbing of income with parents' if earned through her talent. She will file ITR if income exceeds Rs 2.5 lakh (or Rs 4 lakh under new tax regime). Interest income from fixed deposits over Rs 1,500 will be clubbed with parents' income, regardless of income changes.
