FPCE seeks RERA law amendments for enhanced promoter oversight

The Forum for People's Collective Efforts (FPCE) has demanded amendments to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) to protect homebuyers. FPCE President Abhay Upadhyay recommended introducing a mechanism to verify builders' track records, compensation for delayed amenities, and a uniform refund policy for cancelled units.
