Adani Power to invest $3 billion in Bihar power project

Adani Power will set up a 2,400 MW ultra super-critical power plant in Bihar at a $3 billion investment, with a 25-year power supply agreement to BSPGCL. The plant, to be built at Pirpainti, will generate direct employment for 10,000-12,000 people during construction and 3,000 post-operation. The project's coal linkage is allocated under the SHAKTI Policy of the Indian government.
