Equity MF inflows drop 25% in August

Equity mutual fund inflows, excluding arbitrage, dropped 25% MoM to RS 424 billion in August 2025 and 8% YoY, due to a weaker NFO pipeline. SIP inflows remained stable at RS 282.7 billion, while arbitrage funds attracted RS 67 billion. Equity AUM remained flat at RS 43.8 trillion, offsetting market losses with net gains.
