SpiceJet delays salaries for many employees

SpiceJet is delaying salary payments to around 2,590 of its employees drawing over ₹55,000 a month. Payments have been delayed by 10-15 days, affecting mostly Assistant Managers and above level staff. It reported a ₹238-crore net loss in June quarter, had 18 operational aircraft out of a total 53 planes, and raised ₹3,000 cr last year for operationalising grounded aircraft and expanding its fleet.
