LIC makes profit from cement and textile stocks surge

Grasim Industries share price traded higher on Monday, amid a muted market trend. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) reduced its shareholding, selling 1.37 crore shares representing a 2.008% stake. LIC's shareholding dropped from 9.507% to 7.499% after the sale. Grasim shares gained over 1% in a month and 15% YTD, with a five-year return of 292%. It traded 0.22% higher at ₹2,807.35.
