Mutual funds gain 31.85 lakh folios, now at 24.89 crore

31.85 lakh new mutual fund folios were added in August 2025, taking the total to 24.89 crore. Active equity funds added 3.04 crore folios, while active debt funds grew by 8.41%. Passive funds added 1.10 crore folios, with gold ETFs leading the growth at 41.94%. Hybrid funds grew by 12.30% and overall folio growth was 21.70%.
