Kotak811 overtakes SBI Yono as world's third-most downloaded banking app

Kotak Mahindra Bank's Kotak811 mobile app reached 16 million downloads, a 250 percent growth, in the first half of 2025, topping the charts globally and second in the country. Sensor Tower data shows it's the highest growth for any banking app worldwide. The app has 2.6 crore customers. The top two downloads were neobanking apps NuBank and Revolut.
