Gujarat Gas shares surge ahead of shareholder merger vote

Gujarat Gas Limited stock rose 1.3% to Rs 440 on BSE amid a proposed merger with Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. (GSPL) and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. (GSPC). Under the scheme, GSPC and GSPL shareholders will receive Gujarat Gas shares, while Gujarat Gas shareholders will get GSPL Transmission shares.
